Backup Account Management
The arx-account command allows you to work directly on backup accounts. It allows you to:
- Create
- Delete
- Extract (from storage to a directory or a disk)
- Get information
- Integrate (from a directory or a disk into storage)
- Purge
- Measure used quota
- Synchronize
Standard maintenance operations are performed automatically (purge, quota measurement, and synchronization). However, you can force them if needed for specific situations.
If you run the arx-account command without any parameters on the storage server command line, you will directly get help on the available features.
To work on a group of accounts, you can add the + character before the root account name.
Example:
If you want to get information about the "demo" account only, type:
arx-account info demo
If you want to get information about the "demo" account and all its descendant accounts, type:
arx-account info +demo
