Quota
Strategies allow quotas to be allocated along two axes:
- Allocated storage space
- Maximum number of authorized sub-accounts
Storage quota
The storage quota allocated by strategy is a purely indicative quota that will be displayed in backup reports and in supervision.
| Key | Parameter | Control |
|---|---|---|
| Quota.AllowedSpace | <value\> \[b|Mb|Gb|Tb\] | Allocated storage volume |
The value is a numeric value followed by the unit used:
- b: bytes
- Mb: megabytes
- Gb: gigabytes
- Tb: terabytes
Sub-account quota
This quota makes it possible to set the maximum number of sub-accounts under the account to which the strategy is applied.
| Key | Parameter | Control |
|---|---|---|
| Quota.AllowedSubAccounts | <value\> | Maximum number of sub-accounts |
The value is a numeric value.
Example
User accounts under this strategy must not be able to create more than 3 sub-accounts and have an allocated space of 500 GB.
Resulting strategy:
Quota.AllowedSubAccounts: 3
Quota.AllowedSpace: 500 Gb
