Processes Arx One Backup

When Arx One Backup is running, you will be able to see a few related processes on your machine.

ArxOne.Service

Minimum system service.

This process should be running all the time. If not, the scheduled backup should start it.

ArxOne.Agent

It is the backup engine, or the agent, itself. It handles backups, restore, supervision, administration... all the current tasks.

Could be discharged when there is not activity. The service (ArxOne.Engine) can start it whenever it is needed.

ArxOne.Notification

Process handling the notification icon within the Microsoft Windows environment. Windows only

You can have several instances running depending on the number of simultaneous user sessions (on a RDS server, for instance).

ArxOne Console

Backup management console. Windows only
