Meaning

Data was backed up while open using a file system snapshot. Depending on the nature of the data backed up on the client side, this may cause consistency issues when restoring the data. See this page to learn more about this topic.

Advanced data types, such as virtual machines or databases, must be backed up in a consistent state. Otherwise, the data may not be usable after restoration. {.is-warning}

Resolution

If the data consists only of "flat" files, you can ignore this alert. If it involves advanced data formats such as databases or virtual machines, back them up using dedicated software components. If the data format is not supported by Arx One Backup, make sure to generate an export before backup.
